    Tom was the brightest lad at Fuller in the late sixties, as kind as he was rigorous as a thinker. I am grateful I was privileged to know him and be counted as a friend. His universalism is (to put it mildly) controversial, but the force and fairness with which it’s presented should win everyone’s respect and challenge us all to confront the problems he has wrestled with.
