I confess that I find the movement toward unitarianism both bewildering and fascinating.

    It’s not bewildering. Much of the leading evangelical scholarship that pushed back against modernism and skepticism in the last half century lends itself to subordinationism (I’m thinking of the likes of Larry Hurtado and even Martin Hengel).
