Comments box problem?

Two readers have informed me that they are unable to comment on my articles. We have not been able to figure out why. Comments are open to all on all articles for 14 days after initial publication. After two weeks, comments are automatically closed.

The way the comments function is coded into the core of WordPress: by clicking the post title or the comments link the posts on the front page open on their own page where all comments display.

If you are experiencing this problem, please try one or two other browsers. If you still are unable to comment, please email me at tigana99 {at} hotmail.com. Thanks.

Edit: I have just reconfigured the blog to allow comments on articles up to four weeks old.

One other observation: rarely, very rarely, an authentic comment will be filtered into the spam queue. As far as I know, it’s only happened twice over the past year. Given the number of spam comments this blog gets, it is possible that I will not notice it and it will get deleted the junk box gets emptied. As far as I know, this has never happened, but it remains a possibility. If you are leaving a long comment, you might want to save your comment until it appears on the blog. Just saying. 🙂
