I, too, have been known to fall asleep reading Aquinas.
When she wakes up, I’ll have to ask the Lady Tiriel what she thinks about the Thomistic claim that the divine esse is the divine essence.
Which book is that she was reading?
It’s Aquinas’s Compendium, sold under the title Light of Faith.
I have that book. It’s a known soporific.

Collies are wonderful dogs. I had enough of dealing with a long-haired dog’s hair when we had our dear English Springer Spaniel; that’s a chore one surely does out of love 🙂 If you have the patience for it, the Collie reputation holds, in my experience.
I love dogs and cats both.
She is obviously attempting to absorb the insights of the Angelic Doctor through the well trod path of mental osmosis. So far that has never worked for me, whether the subject is law, theology, philosophy or organic chemistry!!
From now on called the Angelic Dogtor.
