Do We Have Consensus: Decision-making in the parish church

This is a short unpublished paper that I found very useful during my years as a parish pastor. If you are a pastor, you too may find it useful. Even if you’re not, you may find ways to adapt the author’s suggestions into you work place.

At one point I had some email conversations with Ross Paul, but lost contact with him 15-20 years ago. Wherever he is, I’d like to thank him for sharing this paper with me.

  2. This paper would have saved our Diocese of the West in the ACA. Instead, a bishop problem in which a bishop who was unqualified that the diocese could not afford was enforced upon us by the upper ranking members in the TAC and now we have split from the ACA. We’ll likely be joining with the APA.
