A brilliantly written piece by Bulgakov, what is the biggest problem in St Augustines theory of predestination is that it is totally against the concept of fair play, some sinners sin more yet are saved while other sinners sin less and yet end up dying in their sins, there is nothing fair in that, it is the anti meritocracy and it is just simply unfair, no wonder St Augustine had nothing sensible to say as to why God can’t save all but only saves a few.
