A Personal Update

You may have noticed that since concluding my series on Robert Capon and the parables of Christ, I have been relatively quiet on the blog front. There are two reasons for this:

1) I am reading some of Capon’s other works in order to write a concluding summary on his soteriology.

2) I am hard at work revising old articles of mine for my book. “What,” you ask, “you are working on a book?” Yes I am, with the invaluable and indispensable assistance of Jess Lederman. I finally gave in to the many requests to pull together into one volume some of my articles on the universalist hope. You will be hearing more about the still untitled book in the weeks ahead.

Well I can personally guarantee at least one sale once your book is written. I look forward to reading it.

This is super-exciting news! I can put it right next to my copies of the two volumes of “A Larger Hope” series.

Just remember: my book will be all material that you have already read. It will be a déjà vu experience! 🙂

This is great. Your articles are a treasure and should be collected. I like to read at night on my kindle app which allows for a dark background. I also find it easier to concentrate when I’m not connected to the internet. So looking forward to this volume and will be excited to promote it on my podcast when the time comes.

There is truly a very nice range of historical, theological, and literary material that is taken into account in Father’s reflections over the years. It will be a very good book.
